The three-level Crown Center opened in 1973 and now showcases more than 60 specialty shops and restaurants.  Only at Crown Center- the home of Hallmark Cards and- you can find unique places like the Crayola Store and Cafe and a none of a kind Hallmark Shop

Hallmark Visitor's Center

What does a shoebox have to do with the founding of Hallmark?  Which famous statesman's paintings have been featured on Hallmark cards?  At the Hallmark Visitor's Center, you'll learn these answers and much more.

Cost: Free

 

Liberty Memorial

Liberty Memorial is America's only museum and the largest monument dedicated to WWI.  The 217 foot tower, completed in 1926, is topped by four Guardian Spirits and the Eternal Flame of inspiration.

Cost: Kids under 6 free

 

Union Station

Union Station has played a central role in Kansas City's history since it opened in 1914.  With tremendous community support, the nation's second largest train station (only New York's Grand Central Station is larger) was restored to its original grandeur in 1999.  Union Station is now home to Science City, and extraordinary science adventure containing more that 50 interactive environments and three exciting theaters.
